CIA Crackdown Seeks to
Tighten Agency's Secrecy
On April 24, 2006 an article appeared in the
New York Times newspaper describing the firing of C.I.A. employee
Mary O. McCarthy for leaking secrets to the press.
McCarthy was fired Thursday, April 21 after admitting she had leaked
classified information to reporters about secret C.I.A. detention
centers and other subjects, CIA officials said.
The C.I.A. is believed to have many
classified UFO documents. Certainly given the above scenario
the likelihood of any future UFO document release is diminished.
