Location of Sighting: Maisonnette, New Brunswick (See Map)
Description: I took that picture on May 20, 2007 at 1:30 when I came back from a party with 2 other friends of mine. It was in Maisonnette, New Brunswick, Canada near the Bay of Caraquet and by the way it was not the moon or fireworks. The red lights are Caraquet's night lights and they prove that I was not shaking! Aalso take note that there were many smaller bright lights going up. Thank you for your attention.
Note: The witness is correct that the light was not the moon. (The moon had set a couple of hours earlier and was crescent shaped.) A check of camera settings show that the flash was used. The light could have been a lens flare due to the flash? A KODAK EASYSHARE Z710 ZOOM digital camera was used to take the photo. This camera has a maximum resolution of 7.1 megapixels. The camera setting must have been on a lower resolution because of dimension 640 by 480 pixels.
