Description: The witness called and reported the sighting immediately after it happened. She stated that she and her son were star gazing and noticed what appeared to be a "very bright star" moving eastward. The light left a trail, moved in a straight line and emitted no sound.

Comments: I am not sure what the witness observed, but I believe it to be a meteor. However, I have not heard of any major meteor sightings in the area at the time of the sighting.
