Date of Sighting: May 11, 2011
Time of Sighting: Between 7:30 and 8 PM CDT
Location of Sighting: In Dove Springs Park in Austin, Texas (See Map)

The witness was watching his kids play soccer. He noticed several bright lights near a thunderstorm (see radar map above). The lights vanished and then a cigar shaped object appeared where the lights vanished. Several commercial aircraft were in the area at the time. The object was visible for 10 to 15 minutes. Several other witnesses saw it.
Note: The direction of the object specified by the witness (south-southeast) does not agree with the radar and where he said that he was located. Perhaps he may have made a mistake in direction. He sent a fax showing where he was on a map and he stated that the object was over the Dripping Springs, Texas area. These points are plotted on the radar map above. The doppler radar did not show anything unusual.
Update - June 4, 2011: The witness sent several photos upon which he drew the position of the objects and the thunderstorm in sequence. The objects and thunderstorm were superimposed on an actual photo of the soccer field where the sighting occurred.
