Location of Sighting: East Los Angeles, California
Description: I saw weird orange lights in the sky that slowly disappeared.
Response of Witness to Investigator Questions: This is the real photo that I took from my phone at 9:30 PM. My brother had just pulled in the drive way and realized there was like 8 weird orange glowing lights in the sky. He ran in and told me to go look at them. When I went to go see them they were fading away one by one. By the time my parents came out there was nothing in the sky.
Note: It appears that this photo has been edited. It is not known if it is a real photo or a graphic recreation on a photo background. Questions have been posed to the witness. Updates will be posted. (See updates above.)
The description provided by the witness in her response suggests that these lights could be Chinese Lanterns. However, this is only a possibility and there is no direct evidence that the lights were Chinese Lanterns. The photo was taken with a HTC PC36100 Cell Phone.
