UFOS Northwest does not necessarily believe that every report received is accurate and true.  We try to filter out hoaxes and obvious fabrications.  (Some cases where hoaxes are a possible explanation are still displayed.) We strive to present reports as received and perform an analysis if time permits.  In many cases data are incomplete and credibility of witnesses is unknown. Due to time constraints and the high volume of reports, most of these reports have not been thoroughly investigated. UFOS Northwest leaves it up to the reader to make their own interpretation of each report. We encourage comments and if time permits, will post these comments.

It is our belief that most reports received (particularly night sightings) could be explained if more data and/or witnesses were available. However, a small percentage of reports defy explanation and fall into the "unidentified category."
